wire harness routing picture
I have an '03 and my wire harness coming off of the battery is just hanging in the rear fenderwell. I was wondering if someone could take a picture of how their harness is routed so that I can correct my situation. I am sure that mine didn't come from the factory just hanging out like a rats nest like it is. Thank you in advance.

If i make it out to the shed today ill try to get you some pic of how i have mine ran all tho its probably not stock as i just rebuild my entire quad and ran it how i thought was an easy out of the way routing and then have it tied up to the frame.

i was going to get you a pic until i realized i didnt have mine tied up at all yet...lol anyways the wiring goes on the inside of the frame and is supposed to be tied up to the frame and subframe from what i remember even from the factory the wires are still a mess under there. im just going to tie everything up and outta the way from any moving parts.

I guess what I am looking for is not the large positive cable that comes off the battery, but rather the large bundle of small wires that comes off the positive terminal along with it. I am not sure if it is supposed to be wrapped or what. Mine looks like a big hairball of wires hanging in my wheel well.

on my quad they arent wrapped up at all ill be in the shed this coming weekend and ill get you some pics of my wiring but there isnt much of it thats wraped up just wires going everywhere. altho i eleminated alot of wiring as i have no lights on my quad so all those wires are gone along with brake switches and things like that
you can always just disconnect the wires tape them up with electrical tape and reconnet them to neaten them up some
i just wouldnt remove any wires unless you know what they are for and if you need them or not.
