hey guys, just thaught i'd share a little solution to a problem i had with my quad. first off i would start the quad and everything would be good... the minute the lights came on i would have from anywhere between 5minutes to 30 seconds and the quad would shut off, no power anywhere no ign, no neutral light nothing..... so i started checking all the ground points and found to have 1 specific ground to be corroded.. i cleaned the contacts and tried again... same problem... i then checked the circut breakers to find that they were sealed and still in perfect condition... finally i started checking the light switch. fair enough after fooling around with the connectors on it boom the bike shorted out... so there you have it... my problem was due to a faulty light switch... i opened up the switch to find corrosion everywhere and to notice that theres no seal sealing the unit completely from water and dirt... so there you go guys if your having that same problem i did its probably the stupid light switch.
