Fuel Pump Question
I bought a 05 Pred 4 days ago for 1200. It wouldnt start and the guy thought it was a carb issue. Cleaned the carb out and it fired up but wasnt getting enough fuel. So i took the fuel pump apart and cleaned it too. Was completely packed with dirt and bugs. Put it back together and everything seems to be running great except when the bike is on it spits fuel out of the breather on the back of the pump. So my question....When i disassembled the pump i never noticed anything in the breather hole. is there supposed to be a brass bb or somthing that sits in there and if not what is making it spit out the fuel?
