oil in stator cover
Can someone please tell me if there should be oil in my stator cover on a polaris outlaw 500

I am not sure if it is supposed to be in there or not, but there is oil inside of my cover on my predator.

does ur guys start hard when its cold and starts right up after it warms up

mine starts right up easy even below zero.

is urs jetted i have a aftermarket head pipe, pure polaris muffler, stock air box and stock carb didnt know if it needs to be jetted

Yes, it's normal to have a little oil in the stator. Done a few stator replacements over the years and there's always some oil in there.

mine is jetted, has stock airbox with a k&n drop in filter, and has a full fmf powercore 4 exhaust. it is jetted more for sea level though so i have problems running rich when i am riding out in the black hills which are around 5000ft. (no problems starting though)
