predator problem need help
First question i have is how much oil do i put in my 05 predator after i change the oil? The guy at my local polaris dealership told me 2 quarts but it is way over on the dip stick. I was riding and it made a high pitched squeel noise and stalled out i got it started again and on the way home it stalled again but this time when i tried starting it it made a grinding noise and then the piston wouldnt move at all when i tried starting after. about an hour later i tried again and it grinded again and the piston seemed free again because it turned over fine idk what to do or where to even start i would greatly appreciate your help thank you very much!

In my 04 pred i do use about 2 quarts after the filter change. Make sure to pull both plugs. I bought 3 quarts of amsoil ow-40 just to be safe. Dont just add the 2 qts right away! You have to check and add. A i would definetly not start that pred again untill i knew what was wrong. Sounds like something internal.

you only have to prime the oil pump if the lines are removed from the motor.
