welding cast?

I broke the top strap on my rear shock, and was wondering if you could reweld it? Wrecked going about 60 also possibly streched the chain. Other then that the bike seems fine. Just gotta get it up and running again to feel things out

Its a piggy back I believe? Seperate resavoir but its connected to the shock.. Not like a remote res with a braided line. I ordered a shock on ebay today. However I'de still like to get this one rebuilt to keep as a spare if its worth it.

Okay so I got my shock, and realized that it is not charged.. So it needs oil and nitrogen. How much will this cost me and is pretty much any shop set up to charge them? The seller said all seals are good and it has never been rebuilt. I'm a little tourqed though that I have to do this. Its hard for me to find time as often as I work..
