Sprockets
Im changing y front sprocket and my retaining ring doesnt fit my new sprocket is it okay too trim away the part needed too make it fit or does it have too be on there with holes lineing up properly?

Yup you must of got a Aftermarket Cheap LOW end one "race driven ??". so yes you will need to Trim off a bit. so you can line up the Bolts. also your chain may be 1-2 links too long (if you got the kit) , i have had a talk with them and they told me that i dont know what i am doing and the parts are a Direct replacement fit.... i have used 6-7 of there kits and 1/2 of them are NOT Direct replacement but they can be made to work. and at 1/4 the price of the dealer there still a REAL good deal.

ya its funny cuz its a moose sprocket but i made it work now i need a different chain now or a different rear sprocket cuz im not lining up.......................grrrrrr

if you Front was bad. you should of changed them all. seeing i bet your chain is bad also.

The front wasnt bad i went from a 14 to a 15 then back too a 14 but i did figure out how too roll the bearing carrier too tighten up the chain and all is well now thnx for the help
