2003 polaris predator 500

I have a 2003 Polaris Predator 500 with gas in the oil. Has anyone had this problem, and how can it be fixed? thanks

I have heard of fuel getting into the oil if the fuel cutoff petcock is not closed after riding. I would also think you would have to have a float problem in the carb for that to happen.

if it was Runing and Driving , Drop the oil. Put in New Polaris Oil . Run her for 1-4 hrs and check your oil.

I dont think that it was gas. I checked it after changing it and the oil level was really full. Im not familiar with the synthetic oil does it thin out after its gets warm or could something else cause the level of oil to increase

if you have gas in the oil the oil will smell of gas. only other thing you could get in your oil is antifreeze. if thats the case your oil will look milky.

If you are getting gas in the oil your float height is to high or your needle is not seating properly and needs replaced.

most likely blown head gasket if its smoking or base gasket if its not smoking. water and antifreeze is getting in your oil if its milky.

if you have white smoke its water/antifreeze if its blueish its oil and if its black and smells like gas your rich

Its not smoking and the oil smells like gas so would that be the base gasket?
