Sand Racing
ok, so my brother and i went to the local dunes today for the first time with the preds and they ran great but there is some mods to be done... we raced alot of bikes"all of which had paddles" and we didnt. to take off they would leave us but towards the end of the race we would start closing the gap. the problem was we needed paddles.. bad. so heres what we want to do, change sprockets and put paddles. we want to slow them down a bit on top end and give them more take off. what size sprockets should we go with and what type of paddles does good on these bikes?
Thanks!

my first thought is ,i'd go with the sedona's 20x11x10's<that's what i run on my outlaw525s,i have all 3 front sprockets they make<13t,14t,15t>.i would take into consideration what mod's i have on the quad???than i would spend a weekend out running the new gear's"front or rear".what dune's are you in reference too?i'd test on straight drag lanes, hill climbing, and alot of time in the hole<shot> area.that's my personal thoughts on this.
thanxs David"wiquedone racing"Wilkie

My Predator has full HMF exhaust, jet kit and k&n air filter.
I ride at LA dunes. Mostly holeshot and drag, not much hill climb

holeshot'n and straight drag'n my best advise for ya is,sprockets are cheap, and good bang for the buck!but extending the swing arm<800+>,widen swing axle<300 on up>spindle extensions<65-75>add 2 inches wider on each side!and i'd really be looking your weight balance and center of gravity.and last would be rear shock settings are your biggest keys.best of lucky and hook-up and fly brother.oop's i'd also look into pro-com's hot box-add's about 1000 to 1200 more rpm's-shift point changes there.peace out. Dave
