Trail Tech Endurance
Anyone out there have one of these? I'm seriously considering one and was wondering if it is something a backyard mechanic could do, or if I should take it to a shop?

The Endurance line through Trail Tech was a quality product but that line has now been discontinued. The next step up in computers from Trail Tech is the Vector computer line. It will offer quite a few more features than the Endurance computers. It will still be a speedo/odometer but it will also have engine temp, ambient air temp and some other cool feature. Trail Tech offers a model specific kit for your Predator also. They are fairly simple to install too. They take about 1 hour to an 1.5 hours to install. If you want to take a look at the install directions you can check them out right on their website.

The Vapor computer is the most popular computer that Trail Tech offers. It is going to have the speed and odometer, trip meter, trip timer, engine temp, ambient air temp, and it also has a tach. It also has programmable engine temp warning lights and shift indicator lights. Trail Tech also makes a really nice dashboard for it.

I was looking at your website for a few minutes. Stuff looks nice. I have seen the other stand alone engine management systems for other powersports; Vipec, Motec, .
Yours are obviously not like those in the programming but seems to provide some of the similar information. The simplicity is refreshing. I couldn't seem to find a page on your site that shows what each model does and how the sensors are hooked up. I probaby just didn't look hard enough yet.

So is there any tips that I should know for installing a vector on a 2003 predator 500? Or or any special or specific tools I will need to install it?
