polaris predator oil in airbox

looked at another 500 today,it had a good amount of oil in the airbox.The dip stick was broken off the cap and the oil was filled right up to the bottom of the neck on the oil tank.If the oil was filled to much would that cause it to push out into the airbox. thanks

Welcome to the forum. Yes if overfull it will blow oil into the airbox. I holds 2 qts. of 0w-40 fully synthetic motor oil when changing oil and filter.
