Check out my battery relocation mod! Lots of pics!

I decided I couldn't stand the look of the stock battery location anymore!

I'm still working on the wiring location as of now, but its coming together.

I had to completely remove the airbox as shown, so I wrapped the air filter in some packing foam to protect it from mud and water.

I also cut off the heel guard brackets and relocated the rear shock reservoir.
I'm not the best fabricator out there so the metal work is bit rough!
And yes the seat fits just as it should.

How does the intake workout for you? I mean in regards to suckin up water and does it show any signifigant gains in horse power. I realize these r prob. stupid q's, but i just got my first quad. '06 predator and love it. still getting used to it but askin lots of q's to figure out what, if any mods to do. the pics look good and on the battery, and the aftermarket heal guards, notice a big difference with them?
