Noob here; got an 03 Troy lee. Looking for suggestions

Hello eveyone. I am a noob to the qaud seen, however I used to race moto-x back in 86. I picked up a Troy Lee edition in fairly good condition overall except for a sucked valve for $400.00. Yes $400.00. All I need is a set of valves, a piston & gasket set. The guy already had another head. I am looking for suggestions as far as what piston is best, valves etc. & who are the best places to buy from? What other mods are common and popular with the Predator? Does anyone extend the axle & swingarm anymore like they did on the 3 wheelers back in the day? I know people extend them for drag racing but is there a benefit to extending them for better handling?

I am also going to work on the HID headlight issue and come up with a resolution. I am determined to make the high/low beam work. I already have some ideas that I will be working on & will post when I have them complete. I assure you it will look like it was produced from the factory with the facory lights.

I am not looking to race just play & trail ride (really fast of course) with this qaud. Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated. Also can someone suggest some good mod/parts sites or other popular forums geared strictly for the predator?

Welcome to the site, I just got an 07 Pred myself. So far got skids, nerfs, Twin Air filter, Motion Pro clutch lever, and new front tires
