The peak gains are marginal at 5-6 to the wheels. It's more about removing the tq management

Does it really hit that much harder when you nail the throttle?

Let's just say for arguments sake the 5-6hp is accurate without dynoing the machine before and after, on the same dyno, on the same day, and everything else that goes into a legit dyno run. You managed to gain 5.5hp for $81/hp. Those are actually good numbers. I have tuned many cars and although the hp increase is WAY more, the tune is also more expensive. To put it into perspective, when you add a (good) intake to a car, your going to make some gains but never as much as one would think and most intakes are well over $450.

Most tunes recalibrate the many settings in an ecu to the settings that the machine was manufactured to make in the country in which is was built. When most machines make their way to the U.S. they are calibrated to efficiently burn the crap fuel we have here taking some performance away from the machine. There other factors such as emissions control and everything else we have here that go into this but you get the point.

IF the numbers are legit, nice work by this particular manufacturer as there isn't much there to gain to begin with on an atv. Not to mention 5-6hp on a 700-ish pound machine is def noticeable on the butt dyno!

And one other thing, the individual who posted about the warranty... you are most certainly correct.

I bet, that's over a 5% hp gain.
There is a good chance I will be doing this tune in the near future.
