05 500 scrammy 4x4 issue

hello! first post and have already learned alot from you guys about my quad. So, I just bought an 05 scrambler and love it. However, the 4x4 seems to only go through the left side front tire when engaged. Is this normal?? I would think it will transfer power to both wheels, I have only rode the bike once and it is now in my class as I am attending a small engine course. Any help is appreciated, the clutch in the right side appears fine, but i am unfamiliar with the bike so what do I know lol! can I test for voltage on the system?

I am no expert but sounds like you may have a Hillard problem. Check for fluid in the front hubs. If it is dry that is not good. Do a search on hillard. Do some reading. Good luck.
