50cc scrambler
working on my sons 50cc scambler. Finally got it to run and the only way i can get it to stay running is to remove the air cleaner and hold my hand over the carb opening. Its like it is starving for gas. if i take my hand off it will idle for a few seconds and then start to bogg down, put your hand over the opening and it will catch back up. I dont completely cap off the incoming air but alot of it, you can still here it sucking. Any ideas? Whats the proper way to adjust these carbs?
Thanks

Remove and clean the pilot jet (might as well clean the entire carb while you are at it).

Thanks
I have cleaned the entire carb. It runs somewhat better. Now it will fire up and idle and after a while start to bogg down. it will start right back up. I have found that if you hold the throttle about half open it will start and run good as long as you drive it around at half throttle or above. If you stop and let it idle or slow down to make a slow turn it boggs down when you give it throttle. Any suggestions?
Also this thing smokes alot more than most 2strokes that i have seen, can you adjust the oil injector? Could that be causing it to bogg after it has idled?
