I just freshen'ed up my gf's scrambler 500 with a moose power kit(stage 1 dyno jet kit and k&n filter and filter wrap) and a new plug, but when i when to retune the carb i noticed the adjuster cable was broken off.
Is this the only was to tune the carb? I can get it started but have to goose the gas to keep it running. Any help would be great

That shouldn't effect the idle speed ,as you can still set the speed with that screw. You may have to adjust the electric throttle control, for proper gap , 1/16"-1/8" pop off black plastic cap ,on right handlebar and adjust air gap, adjustment is made on cable about midway down the bar
