Fill front hub with oil?
I know you use an allen key and unscrew the plug, drain and refill but i bought my used scrambler from a hack i guess.
The front left hub plug is stripped so i tried an ez out bit and snapped it(guess im a hack too)and cant get it out, also someone kindly stripped all the brake bolts also so the whole hub wont come off. So can i tip the bike and remove the hub cap and drain and fill that way?

Just a guess, but I'm thinking drilling it out and retapping it might be a better solution. There are some guys on this forum that really know. I'm sure one of them will find this thread. Best wishes!

So if you cant get the drain/fill bolt out, how do you know you need fluid? If your just wanting to drain it and add new, I would make sure you could take it apart right. BTW what snaped the ez out or the plug? if ez out get a better one, and retry.
Right now Im redoing the hub and strut seals on my 2001 scrambler 500 4x4. It's all broke down just wating on strut seals and front brakes. Good luck with your hubs. And btw hows your cv's looking?

Vise grips work well for stripped bolts, or you can always take a cutoff wheel and cut the heads off. Then you can remove the caliper and so one. Once you replace all the stripped hardware you will be good to go. Having good quality tools is a must. Dont use any of that 12pt stuff.

my manual shows 4 or 8 oclock. Im right handed and like a little more so I go about 3:30 or so. 5 oclock would be pretty low, if you ask me thats not much fluid.
