wheel/tire combo & clutch suggestions please..

I'm not crazy about the steelies & was looking into a solid alum wheel like the ITP or Douglas but it seems there are so many choices in that style wheel. Which is a good trail wheel? Also interested in opinions on a good all terrain tire that is more agressive than the stock 489's. Not looking for a race tire of any type. Good for trails/working/ & a little mud here & there.

Also, I think my belt is slipping pretty good when I pull the trailer around the yard. Is there a better clutch set up than stock for good performance working around the house but also allow me to rip it on the trails/mud?

Any & all recommendations appreciated..

Thanks

ITP makes some great wheels. You will not be disappointed with that wheel choice. The only thing to note is that the Polaris offset/backspacing is different than other quads and as a result your wheels/tires will stick out farther from the sides of the quad. ITP refuses to make a wheel with the correct backspacing for Polaris. I would actually pay a premium to have that as an option but its not offered so we are out of luck on that option

For all around riding you have a couple of choices. Maxxis Bighorns or GBC Grim Reapers. Both are great tire choices for a little mud and a lot of everything else.

Finally, your belt should not be slipping pulling a trailer that is under 1,500 lbs. Are you using low range?

Towing will burn up a belt quickly. Just make sure you have enough capacity. Don't overload it.
