I'm picking up an 05 Scrambler 500 on Thursday, and was wondering is there a way to determine mileage and or hour usage ? Supposedly it has less than 75 hrs, and I've already looked at it. It looks ok (typical mud, scratched fenders, etc), but I'd REALLY like to know if there is a way to definetly determine its usage.

Oh, almost forgot. I'm going to be changing the fluids in it when I get it. Other than the oil, coolant, and diff fluids, are there any other fluids in it? Any special type of antifreeze needed for it ?

In terms of low udage, you kinda have to look at the obvious. If it HAS 75 hours, let say that equals out to 750-1000 miles, so tires should be in good shape , not too much rust on the entire exhaust, front-end still tight
