Scrambler 500 Sputtering
I have an 01 Scrambler 500 that hasn't been running right lately. I changed the spark plug and noticed the boot was ripped. I electrical taped it to hold up for our trip the next day to Badlands. Long story short, forgot about it, went to Coal Creek and into the first day started running like crap. Couldn't give it any throttle without it sputter. So thinking it was the boot and the tape wasn't doing the trick, I replaced the boot and still getting the same results. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you install a new spark plug? Running it with the torn plug boot may have fouled the plug.

True, the boot was taped pretty good and didn't seem that was the issue but you never know. Thanks for that input tho. Ill give that a shot
