tire size?!
just bought a 500 scrambler 4x4. i'm reading that different tire sizes can cause drivetrain issues. i see that the stock rear tires are 22x11x10 and fronts are 23x7x10....i have 25x11x10 in the rear and 22x8x10 in the front. is this still ok? or do i need to replace??

I'm pretty new also but everything I've read says your front tire needs to be an inch taller than the rear to keep the drivetrain happy.

ya your right. i have since stolen my wife's tires of her trailboss which are 23s in the front and 22s in the rear. now she has the 25s on her trailboss 330..havent had a chance to ride her's yet but i'm worried if its even got enough power to trail ride now with those huge 25s

i have 25in swamp foxes on my 400 scrambler all the way around it and it still has plenty of power. but my local mechanic told me that the one inch doesnt make any difference aslong as you only put it in 4wheel drive when youre in mud or will be spinning but when youre just driving around it will put it in a bad bind and eventually break stuff my fourwheeler is all chain drivin so i put a 1 tooth larger rear sprocket and they said that would make up the speed difference and it would be fine
