Have a pair of 2000 scrambler 500s. One runs ok, needs some tweeking, the other doesn't run. Nice to have a working parts swap quad!

Need to test the stator, but don't have repair manual yet. Anyone know the specs & correct procedure? Off this weekend, wanna wrench on it! Thaks for any help!

well this isn't your exact model but an earlier model shows this:
1.yellow/red to yellow .34 ohms
2.yellow/brown to yellow .17ohms
One pair is the charging coil and the other the timing(exciter coil) this on 200 watt system.

95 Magnum 425 4x4 , 518HO carb & air box, 12inch rear wheel conversion.

02 Magnum 500 RMK

If it ain't broke, I can't afford it!
