Scrambler 500 4x4 tire questions
I have a 2001 Scrambler 500 4x4. I'm looking at putting a set of 12" STI C7 wheels on it and a set of mud tires. My question is, can I put a set of 25" tires front and back or do I have to have something like 26" on front and 25" on back? If I do 25s all away around will it mess up the final gear ratio? Thanks

if you put the same size tires on both front and back it will screw with the ratio in your 4wd. stock it is set up
for a 20% difference in wheel speed from back to front. that means the back tires have to slip 20%, or 1/5 of a rotation for the front tires to start receiving power.

Alright, thats what I was thinking. Another question, I'm going to install a EPI clutch kit setup for 27"/28" tires. I'm looking at a set of Zilla tires, sizes 26" front and 25" back. The front has a tread thickness of 1.2" and the back is .75". Would this setup work?

sounds like it will work just fine. I've heard good things about epi.
