good price for 2000 scrambler?

500 and 4x4....garage dweller for the most part...
Neighbor has it, very clean, low miles, noticed one wheel is bent a little at the rim, he is asking $2000 for it...going to go test ride it later with the boss lady. It looks big enough to be a 2-up machine for us.
Does this sound like a good deal?

sounds like an ok deal. check everything really well. how many hours? the scrambler is definitely NOT a 2 up machine. it's shorter and narrower than the machines made for 2 riders. I take my children on mine, on flat ground. I wouldn't take an adult on them though. you would be taking a big chance on hurting yourself or god forbid the wife!

I agree with RR, NOT a good choice for a 2UP machine! GREAT FUN machine for one up tho!!!!!

For my $$ it better be immaculate for a YR 2000 @ 2K!

Same here !!!!

We paid $2000 for our 05 4x4 Scrambler 500 which was in pretty good shape. Having said that, YOU are the one that has to decide if the price is a good deal for YOU.

BTW: It's not a good 2 up machine.

Correction! After close consultation with the boss lady, you two will have to make this vital decision!
