Scrambler help
Hey everybody, new guy here... I recently acquired a 2001 polaris scrambler 500 2x4 and doing some maintenance on the machine... I unfortunately do not have a manual at this point (funds) but I am need some assistance on the grease zerk fittings on this model.. I bought a mini grease gun with the flexible hose that supposed to have the adjustable tips but for some reason I am unsure on how to adjust, I twist the end but nothing happens. The zerk fittings on the machine that I have found seem to be of different sizes, and I cannot get all the points.
My questions:
1.) Does anybody have a digital manual or something I can look at so I see where all the fittings are at, and what size attachments I will need for the grease gun
anyhelp would be much appreciated.

Zerk fittings are standard size on atv's. Just clean the fittings off with a rag or brush and get a basic grease gun. Most fittings are in plain sight.

Partshark lost their server. They are not able to send old manuals. Any other options?

a typical grease gun should do you fine. I bought mine with the proper fitting on it so it should be a standard fitting. It is a little loose on the fitting but just try pumping and see if it works

I know the 04 to 06 Scrambler 500 4x4 models have 2 zerks on the rear swing arm pivots towards the front of the rear swing arm, rear carrier bearing and on the side of the front drive shaft just forward of the transmission. That is it other than the fluid fill areas.

Does it work for the older manuals? The 2009 manuals were available, but the archived manuals weren't. I just contacted them, and I'm waiting for a response.
