New to site and scramblers
I picked up my first scrambler Saturday morning and just wanted to say thanks for all the posts here. Not only were they informative for pre-purchase inspection, but also provided lots of insight about the machine while I was researching what to buy to fit my needs. I am not new to the atv world or wrenching, but this is my first sport utility. I have two modded banshees in the stable, but was looking to add a more adventurous quad to ride places the banshees weren't designed to go. Father time is bearing down on me, so the thought of an automatic with reverse was pretty appealing. I am actually impressed with the power of this quad. Plus I'm very partial to two strokes.
I picked up a 2002 Polaris Scrambler 400X 4x4 in great condition. The mods on this quad are fmf full exhaust, wiseco piston, clutch kit, vforce reeds, dg front bumber, k&n filter, and ITP aluminum rims. If I did this correctly, I have attached a photo.
Thanks again and I look forward to being a part this Polaris community.

Sweet looking Scrambler. Makes me want my 400 Sport back - That 400 2-stroker is a wicked engine !
