front shock options
hey everyone. I am thinking of chaging out my front shocks, while riding i find them way to hard. What are my options for aftermarket shocks for this? I do mostly trails, a little mud.

There are no aftermarket solutions (that I'm aware of) for the front, only the rear.

Trust me there isnt any , I looked everywhere. I finally purchased shocks and coils from Ebay. "Bikerchicks" has a strut and coil but they are stiffer then orig. I m putting on Precision S & V bar clamps with new handle bars and Fasst Flex bar inserts. This should help with stiff front end.

I could be all wet here, but I know that some of these machines came with a fox short travel strut, and I was thinking I saw some Works stuff as well somewhere.

I was refering to new. The one you showed are used strut and coils, the other didnt have a strut.
I dont see the point in buying an old coil and strut just to replace the old coil and strut that is on the bike.
Works dont sale the stuts anymore. I called and they informed me trhat they discontinued that part.

Will swapping out a lighter spring, such as one from a 250 trailblazer work? I think they are rated for less weight than the scramblers, That might make the ride a little less harsh. but this is an uneducated guess.

Do some comparison on the front springs on a polaris parts catalog. I bet CrazyCorvette is right.
I recently compared the 2012 Sportsman 500 and 800 Front springs on the catalog, and the 800's are stiffer; it has the spring rating in the description. I wanted stiffer so i ordered highlifters. I do not have them yet.

My ATV-GURU bumpers ARE FOR SALE, front and rear, BRAND NEW. Me a reasonable offer and they are YOURS.
(As you probably already know, they are currently unavailable from TheAtvSuperstore.com /ATV-Guru for an undisclosed amount of time).
