what year is my scrambler
So I bought a 400 4x4 scrambler a while back. The ownership says its a 1993 but everytime i do a parts look up i cant find a 93 scrambler. The ownership matches the vin on the frame. It is a 4x4 scrambler with blue plastics. Is there any obvious indicators that would tell me what year it is if its not a 1993? Can somebody confirm if they made a 93 400 4x4 scrambler? Thanks

Dont have it with me but the vin is maybe 7 digits long. It matches the ownership and the ownership says 93. My question was this a frame from a different bike that was swapped?

Sorry about that, here is the US our vins tell us the year after 1980.

The 400 scrambler started in 1995.
I believe they had a 400 4x4 scrambler with blue plastics in 2003 only. Do you have a number that starts with a W or an A? 7-10 letters or numbers in total?

It starts with a W. if i remember correctly it is w93...... So it must be a frame from something else

if its a W93 then it is a 1993 model. Are you sure its a scrambler. Something isnt adding up. Have any pictures of it?
