2001 Polaris Scrambler 500 H.O. Modding
Hi, I recently purchased a 2001 Polaris Scrambler 500 H.O. And I can easily believe you guys know more then me about these machines. I have some extra cash to spend and I want to start blingin out my scrambler I have all these ideas running through my head but would like to know how im going to get the best preformance, i will be running the bike more as a fast pasted trail rider and also would like to see the best out of it in the pits. not as interested in mudding and 4x4, but its nice to know it will always be there.
What I was thinking was:
Bore kits?
Cams and Vavles?
Porting and Polished?
Power Programmer?
Clutch kit?
Different Carb?
Jet kit?
Air filter?
Full exhaust?
Lowering/different suspension?
Aluminum Rims and smaller tires?
Low rise bars?
Just a few things that come across my mind, would like to hear your guys opionions if im headed in the right direction or not, and if you know of any brand of parts i should be going with etc etc, thanks mrcee
