This guy is selling a 2003 polaris scrambler 500 4x4 very good condition. Is the quad a steal for 1200$ thanks

They don't hold their value, truthfully. You can look it up on kelley blue book.com.
If it's been run hard, like most of them, it might be due for a top-end.

yea prolly has been ran hard to. imma just pass on this one. I had a lot of problems with my 96 scrambler 400 4x4. So imma wait and put that 1200 towards an 07 and up polaris atv.

I woul buy it. As long as its in good shape why not. At 1200 any minor repair will still get you ahead. Its almost impossible(for me anyways) to find a running good condition 4x4 for under 2000

As for blue book value that means nothing on these things, lets face it everybody that owns one has a little disposeable income. They r worth what someone wants to pay.

Holy crap that is cheap. In my area that bike is worth twice that all day long. I would scoop it up without batting an eyelash.
