Exclamation No 4x4 activation

I have 2000 4x4 and 4 months ago I had taken it to the dealer for clutch issues. When I got it back I just made sure that it ran right since they didn't fix the problem the first time. However, I took it out the other day since we got some snow and went to put it in 4x4 and nothing happened. I have no idea if something was missed when the dealer had it but I have no idea how to start troubleshooting this. Can anyone give me some things to try troubleshooting?

Thanks.

2000 scrambler 500 4x4. Nothing broken on the speedo area, battery has no issues but I haven't checked the voltage at the front hub. it's just annoying because I had no issue or indication something was wrong and now here I am with no 4x4.

oh also what u can do to check if your wiring is good is a simple take both hubs off all the way down to the hillard clutch and then find the armature plate(located right behind the clutch) take armature plate lay on clean level surface to check if its bent in any way also if the teeth on the plate itself look worn if so but to check it simple to it off turn your key over to get electric to the battery while keeping it in awd and see if it sticks too the inside strut should have a chrome look to it i think ima take apart mine to help you out and make a video if needed

I have and 04 500, and it gave me some problems. I put mine in 4, shifted to reverse and back, and it engages. haven't found the root problem, but this gets me out of jams.
