having problem with 2015 570 efi

Hey, thought I would post this here to see if anyone had any thoughts.
Took out my new to me 2015 Sportsman 570 EFI. It was running great, had my daughter riding her new to us 2014 sportsman 400. We rode with no problems all day. Then on our last ride of the day we went out to check deer stands and i had circled mine and proceeded down a slight incline.

Thats when the atv started sputtering and had a loss of power. i stopped and let it cool down, no idiot lights had come on so i let the fan run without the engine on. After about 10 minutes i tried to crank it again and it started but i had to give it some gas to keep the engine from dying. On the ride back to our deer camp, the 570 was sputtering and seemed to run better if i was to give it more gas, but it gradually lost power until i decided it was best to trailer it.

When i got home i checked a few things, the spark plug seemed to be a little fouled, not sure if it was to the point where i would experience that kind of symptom or not, but i am going to be replacing it as soon as i can get a new one.

I haven't drained the gas yet, but if you think that should be one of my next steps, i will definately do that.

Any thoughts based on that limited description ?

my opinion is if u let fan run without bike running ur only cooling down fluid in rad and not in motor because water pump is not running .

Looks to be running a little rich. Just clean and gap the plug. Check your air box for any obstructions(rats nest). Check the throttle cable for adjustment in the throttle body.

Start with fuel. Odds are.

So many sit for some time before we can part with them.

Make sure you check & change your driveline fluids too.

I'd put money on valves needing adjustment.

It seems very common on the single cyl popo engines.

this machine only has about 26 hours, you think the valves already need to be adjusted ?

Fuel Pump??

Sounds like what mine just did. It turned out to be the fuel pump according to the dealer. Although it wouldn't run after sitting a while I changed the gas and I swapped the plug that looked fouled. It ran fine for a couple hours then it went out on a downhill and ran horrible with no power till I could coast back home. Anyway I'm getting ready to pull the fuel pump out. I see aftermarket fuel pumps for $80 vs. $380 for the polaris brand. Anyone have any experience here? Dealer says they have had bad experience with the aftermarkets not working right. Anyone ever changed one out? How hard is it?
