Kenda Bear Claw HTRs

After reading the forum I just ordered Kenda Bear Claw HTRs (26x9x12 frt 26x11x12 rear) mounted on new ITP Delta Steel 12x7 wheels on my daughter's new to us used 2015 Sportsman 570 for her birthday.

We bought the used 570 w/87 hours,
nice but it spent it's prior life as an icehouse ditch runner.

When the guy was blocked in @ his lake house in front of a state park boat ramp he still got around at the expense of the stock wheels & tires.

Been sitting on the fence about the plug filled tires running dented rims.

Thought about buying new takeoffs @ $300 a set but the upgrade is worth the extra investment.

The old dinged spare set can be for emergency on the other new 570 X2 after I hot patch them inside big time.

Steel is the way to go when walking out is not the best option IMO.

I was proud of my daughter knowing to choose the steel wheel option.

Thanks again forums for improved
family time fun.

$684. to your lower 48 states door
all four mounted
tire sealant & valve stems included from here> Mud-Throwers

There are some really nice detailed before & after pics on the following link with opinions about the taller wider tires & ride quality etc.

Can't wait

Thank you for the input!

How many miles/hours you got on them?

Going to be a lot harder to poke a hole in them with 8 ply-rated tough lightweight design casing and radial construction.*

I am a practical old fart now and go with fit & function way over eye candy
but I must admit the before & after got me hooked on looks.

i have about 400 miles on mine so far with alot of plowing this winter. still look great and holding up well. With the stock carlisles i was getting flats contantly on the trails bc we have alot of rocky areas here in North East PA. Since the Bear Claws havent had one tire issue. Alot of the guys I ride with are going to them after seeing how mine perform. Even the Bighorn guys i ride with are gonna swtich due to the HTR's being cheaper

Thanks again

Just found it takes 58 pounds of pressure to penetrate them with a 16 penny nail

Sounded loud for only 5 lbs

Don't know the inflated pressure during the test but since I will be running 4lbs instead of 5lbs in the rears it should take more pressure before punctures.

They are also FAST Fed Ex said Saturday 04/22/17 by end of day.

Wished I had two discount codes. Going for another set for the other ATV.

You are upgrading an 850 not a 570 and must pay more LOL. just messing with ya'

seriously though

Can someone do the math for me?

What is the PSI pounds per square inch exerted on that 16 penny nail's pointed head?

That 58 pound puncture rating is misleadingly low in interpretation and IMO if it was PSI rated be much more impressive to the masses.

That would appear to be the old bear claw not the HTR.
