570 12" whee570 wheels will NOT fit a 570SP. Thor's definitive answer.

Well, we have the final answer. You cannot put 12" 570 wheels on an SP. Tried to push the wheel on and the bolts wouldn't go through. You can see from behind that the steering arm will not clear inside the rim. So now we know for sure.

I have been running 14 inch rims for awhile now with no complaints. Why do you want the 12s ThorsHammer ?

Seems like the general consensus here, and I tend to agree, is that 14" wheels don't leave enough rubber around the outside. That creates more pinch-flats that a 12" wheel. That said, I've had not trouble with mine the last 6 months.

I don't want an SP so it's a moot point. The whole point of the thread was to be able to prove to people that are asking that they cannot fit. There have been several threads of people speculating one way of the other. But now we have proof to refer to for future questions.

Can someone explain what a pinch flat is and how sidewall height is involved.

A pinch flat is when you run over something with your tire & it pinches the inner tube against the rim causing it to go flat. That's a basic definition. So I guess on an atv its the same principle.
