I haven't heard of that brand but I'm sure it would work for raising a plow.

I've heard both good and bad about the Gorilla winches... but a little to much "bad" for me. Personally, if I was looking to save a decent chunk of change when compared to Warn or Ramsey winches, I would go with a Viper winch. If I was looking to save a LOT of change, I would go with a Champion winch.

I looked at the champion but didn't like the end plate on it. I saw these Promarks on Ebay and was just wondering about them they look alittle better built ,plus I can get a complete setup for under $150.00

I had a Gorilla winch on my first quad an 06 Sportsman the only problem I had was that the rocker switch went out after 3 yrs. worth of use. I do live in WI and plow so I didn't consider it a very big deal for that to go I believe it cost me 23.00 to order a new one. I bought a ProMark (new name ). Had this one now for almost 1 yr. for my new XP. so far no problems. Can't beat the price even with the synthetic remote.

hey kybagger, i Have a pro mark 2500 winch with synthetic rope and i love it, ive pulled a few of my friends out of mud and snow and it will actually pull my sporty 500 if im not careful. for the price i paid i think its worth it even if it lasts a few years. but its got plenty of power and runs pretty flawlessly.
good luck with your purchase

Was it plug and play?? Did you have to modify the mount??

its really simple to install, i got the winch mount from KFIproducts.com and it fit flawlessly, the only problem i had was finding a good mounting spot for the solenoid, which i mounted it behind my Left rear wheel and used some dielectric grease.
and you can hook the winch up to one of the extra wires they leave thats attached to the ignition.
i have very low knowledge of installing anything, and i did it with no error.
good luck
