Got 500 ho touring. Runs great. No trouble. Comfortable passsenger seat with good suspension. Good choice in that category. The only thing is the look if you take out the passenger seat. I`m looking for anything to blobk that hole.

I demoed one last fall on a ATV ride. It was really nice. It basically had he same power as the 850XP just a longer wheelbase. Wife really liked it. She didn't have to drive!!
I didn't see turf mode on it though. I know that was on the 2009 versions.
Make sure you work with a dealer that can give you a demo ride before you buy to make sure it's for you.

I own a 2010 850xp Eps. I am completely satisfied with the unit. I have owned many other different manufactures of atv's and have to say that this is the most comfortable one yet. Little long but you have to expect that if you are in the market for a touring model. Lots of power and torque. Works well for plowing.

I have a 2010 850 touring. I love it. The backseat is very comfortable.

i have a touring 850 and love it so far. the only complaint would be the lack of storage on the back rack. It has great power and ride. i love the smoothness of the 850.

How do you like the driver seating position?
I'm 6'2" and find the seat the way its shaped in a BANANA tends to PUSH me forward and my knees get cramed up on the front dash compared to the flatter seat on the 1 up its way better!
I'm still shopping for a ATV and XP is my 1st choice...I sat on a Outlander Max 800 and it has a really nice seating position but I don't really care for the looks of the rest of the ATV, on the other hand the 1 up XP is another story, it fits me like a GLOVE! but with the new laws coming I'm a little concern of converting it to a 2 up!

i agree with you about the seat. it feels like the seat is pushing you forward. i like the narrowness but wish it was flater and wider towards the back. i've drove a friend of mines can am outlander 800 max and wasn't overly impressed with it. i do like the seat, but the polaris ride is top notch. i like the longer wheel base in off camber situations because its far more stabile. its amazing where you can take two people on one of these touring machines. my wife really likes the 2up seat.
