Welcome! To remove the front propshaft you will need to:

1. Remove the right front wheel.

2. Remove the roll pin that goes through the yoke at the front differential.(make sure to get a new roll pin)

3. Slide the propshaft toward the transmission to remove it from the front differential input shaft.

4. When the shaft comes off the diff input shaft, then pull the propshaft forward to remove it.

5. Installation is reverse of removal.

You can get the u-joint at Napa.(part # 338)

Hope this helps!

It should go back far enough. You may have to move it forward and clean the tranny output shaft, then see if it will move far enough. Sometimes you have to wiggle or turn the propshaft to get to come off the front differential. Be sure to spray the tranny shaft with wd 40 or similar product.
