Jetting for high altitude?
I have a 2010 Sportsman 400 HO and a 2010 Trailblazer 330. I'm taking my oldest kids to Taylor Lake Colorado this summer and have been wondering what my jetting should be? I have been riding dirt bikes in Colorado for many years so I am familiar with re-jetting. Does someone make a jetting kit for these like J.D Jetting kits for the dirt bikes? Do you have to adjust the needle along with the main jet, or are most of you just changing your main jet???? Sorry for all the questions, I'm hoping someone here will have experience with jetting for 9000 feet up to 12000 feet?

very simple just like your dirtbike. main jet and needle. try rocky mountain atv or ebay for a jet kit. your dealer or jets r us should sell you a main jet for about $3 a piece.

what elevation do you live at? I have riddenn mine to 12000 but I live at 5000, they dont run the best up there but they do ok, probably only gonna be there a few day arent you?

I would just go and see , dont think they will all quit, if anything just go down one jet size , the mikuni sizes go like 135 -137.5-140 ect not sure whats in your bikes
