I wanted to buy the X2 but the wife liked the seat on the touring better. You know, gotta make the wifey happy! My only complaint is not being able to make it a 1up without putting a great big box on the back
Unless the 2010 is different than my 2011, it's easy to convert to a one-up. Just remove the seat and insert the optional box in the hole. It takes about 30 seconds and it looks and feels like a regular Sportsman XP. Actually, it's more stable under certain conditions. Enjoy your Touring!

The 08 & 09s are different (He has the 09). I've been looking for a way to do this to my 08 for a LONG time, and can't find anything. Sure would be nice if somebody like Thor came up with something we could use..hint, hint, hint.

I have an 09 and have been looking for a way to get a plate in the hole. Last year I rolled the wheeler and messed up the front box. I was going to take the old lid and see if I could cut it apart put a stand on it and get a seat lock to the bottom so it will slide in just like the seat.

Wallace,
Where did you get the side bars? How sturdy are they? They look pretty good on there. I'm sure they weren't cheap either

Had a snowstorm yesterday so I got to play around the yard with it today. Neighbor piled snow over 4 feet high on the corner of my drive so I couldn't resist driving up on top of it. Also got to drive through a foot of snow as there is a lane behind my house so I could go visit with friends.
