gas coming out overflow tubes

with a full tank of gas i noticed gas came out the overflow hoses on the bottom of the frame wasnt alot but enuf happened when trailering it just wonderin if its normal but the thing moves alot on the dirt road we were on thanks for your help

Could be your float is stuck in the bowl of your carburetor

What are you calling "overflow tubes"?

There are vent lines on the top of the carb and a bowl drain at the bottom. If yours is carburatated. Then there is vent lines for fuel tank.
If working properly, None should expel fuel.

Let us know where you found the fuel escaping.

2007 Polaris Sportsman 700 EFI

CUSTOM front and rear mud flaps, CUSTOM dual side mounted 1.5 Gal Kolpin gas cans, Modified stock muffler with a rear exit & 800 air box lid W/UNI air filter, for better flow in & out.

Next mods: Thor fender flairs & 800 Head pipes.

Mine does the same thing if i fill it up before trailering. I figured out its the the vent line from the fuel tank. The vent line is routed up thru the pod before going out the bottom of the wheeler.

thanks for the replies i think it is as posted above^^ with the fuel tank vent cuz on the way home with just over half a tank none came out

i dont think its the carb bowl as it only happens when trailering and it doesnt come out when riding

x2 on the tank vent line. I've even seen fuel sloshing around in the line right after filling up and riding. Russ is right, you should always close the petcock when trailering although this won't help with tank vent reflux.

Same thing happened to me one time. Freaked me out, I also had gas in the air box. The petcok was off during transportation, just emptied the air box and was good to go.

took it for a rip and a lil gas was in the tube again kinda crappy wastin fuel it shoudlnt come out the tank vent that easily
