Bendix or starter drive rebuild?
Starter spins but no flywheel engagement and the pull rope is brown, not too hard figure out that there is rusty water in there. Pulled the cover and everything is OK but dirty and rusty. Got the bendix apart and all is good, needs a soak and some wire brushing. Question: The spring that holds the centrifugal weights, I see this:

Does that look like the spring?
