believe it for the speedo memory, clock most likely in case other battery goes dead youl still know the time, wont start but at least youl know the time,LOL

Idontknow!!! 3rd base! I believe all sportsman's have a clock with the key on push the reverse override button in and it will change with each push refer to your owners manual to set the correct time

No clock on my 11 500 SP. I never saw a 9 volt hook up either. Saw the two accessory wires and the diagnostics hook up when wiring in a winch, headlight mod and HIDs. Maybe it has something to do with EFI? The new 400s & 500s are carbed, but the 800s and XPs are EFI.
