I have read of a number of guys having this issue.

If It where me I would look closely at how and where It cracked. Then repair it so its stronger than before, not just melted back together... Remembering that welding can make surrounding metal brittle and stress. Make long repairs spreading out the load. If in a corner brace it bigger and if a duplicate exists on opposite side, add a gusset there as well.

The other side of the coin. Look into if the fault lies with you. Arte you jumping or otherwise abusing the machine?

Talking

i work for a auto dealership in the collision dept and i have the skills and equipment to repair this rite and properly reinforce it.. i just know that the manufacturer would be very concerened about a structure failure like this and could also tell if it was from normal use or a product of abuse.... i have owned my atv since new and have never crashed it bad(normal bumps and bruises yes) and have never used it out of the norm... but yes it does have high mileage (12 000 kms) so if this is a product of high mileage than alot of u on here that do alot of rideing mite want to keep a eye on your chasis around your suspension anchor points......if there is any more interest in this topic i will post pics before i repair it,,,,thx
