2010 800 sportsman fan switch

My fan quit working i hit connector it starts
Such a tight spot to wire direct anyone else have problem?

Sounds like you found the problem in the connector. Unfortunately, sometimes it seems as if we have to tear the whole thing apart to get to a simple fix.

get it to work then drive it for a bit and stops then overheats
whats the best way to wire the fan to ignition?
leave it run all the time?

leave it run all the time?
If you unhook the fan wire from the temperature sensor it will run all the time (provided the broken wire isn't the power source). I would fix the real problem or you will eventually burn the fan motor out.
