Coolant issue

I have an 03 Sportsman 600 and it has been something else. I have FINALLY fixed everything and it is running like a top, however I have noticed the coolant in the little white tank on the side rapidly going down like after a few days. It had a small leak on one of the hoses but I have seemed to gt that stopped. Just curious if anyone had any thoughts on what else it might be.

It's definitely "trouble" if you're losing coolant and there are no leaks. Make absolutely certain there are no leaks and that there's no coolant in the oil. The engine might smoke "white" if it's burning coolant from a head gasket leak or crack. - MarkC

Yea I have been checking but nothing as far as blue or white smoke and the oil isn't milkey. I think it was just a leaky hose

Watch that oil. Mine did the same thing for about a year and now all the sudden I'm getting water in the oil. I couldnt for the life of me figure out where the coolant was going. Wasnt burning white or anything. Either head gasket or inner oil seal on water pump
