Gun case mount for 11 SP 800

just picked up leftover 2011 SP 800 from local dealer, was looking at used but could not pass up the deal

Anyway i have a 96 Magnum 425 4x4 that has served me well.

I have one of the Koplin gun boots mounted on my old Polaris and the new one has these composite racks. Is there a way to use my old mount system for my gun case or do I need something else. The old mount is secured to the rack with U bolts around the bars of the rack and don't see any way to mount it on my new Polaris

I usede longer bolts that mount rack to frame, have to mark and drill holes in old mount so they line up with holes in rack

Off topic but what did you pay for ur 800? Curious if i got a good deal on mine =]

I ....had... the same issue but took care of it and still use my old gun boot.

I purchased some expansion anchor kits #2876519 for mounting a Moose Utilities box, plus a couple extras. Six total.

I just took the angle bracket off the two, used one as is was and just used one of the holes in the gun boot bracket. The second one, I took apart and bought a bolt of the same size and used that inside the hole designed for the front hole for the rear rack extension.

I just hold the nut under the composite rack and turn the bolt. I have both front and rear hold downs, using one lock and ride hole, the other the hole designed for a rear rack extension. Works perfect!

$6600 plus winch and installation

Was going to do winch myself but just went ahead and let dealer do it
