does anyone know if the 04's had head gasket issues or head bolts stretching.mine has been losing coolant at first it was the water pump so i replaced the seals but it still is losing coolant with no leaks and the oil looks kind of milky but not bad.im going to replace the headgasket but should i do the bolts as well and should i have to do the base gasket to.

I've got an 03, and its blowing coolant out of the resivoir. COuld it be the thermostat? I'm pretty sure she's getting too hot, but the fans arent kicking on. Any suggestions? Sorry My oils fine. ( i just changed it, and went for a ride..thats how i found the overflow)

I have a 03 aswell. Either blew a head gasket or the inner (oil) seal on the water pump went south. Took a look at the oil and looks like a dark chocolate milk shake....
Mine has always blown coolant out of the resevior if I filled the bottle to high when the motor was cold. You have any oil mixing with the coolant or visa versa? Mine has been mixing oil with the coolant for the past year and also has been steadily losing coolant with no trace of where it went before this and now I have found some in the oil (Thats why I'm leaning toward the oil seal on water pump) but still not positive. As far as bad gaskets or stretching bolts, no I havent heard anything about that.

if you unplug the sensor, lower right corner of radiator with key on, fan should run, if not fan or sensor bad, hoo 12 volts to fan at plug in, if fan runs, sensor bad , can get new one at auto parts stor but will have to splice old plug ont new sensor, Wells #sw- 526Echlin #fs-147
