Using a lot of oil

Have a 2012 850xp. Total hours is around 14 now but I keep check of the oil level and it seems to be using enough that I've added 1/2 qt so far. I know a new engine will use a little oil but this seems a bit much. Maybe because there is only 2 qts total it seems like the level drops quickly.. Don't know. Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like a lot. My 550 doesn't use a drop. Never has.

I don't see it coming out the exhaust either. Not on the garage floor... Don't know where it's going.

Maybe it wasn't full when I got it from the dealer.... I hope

I would check the airbox since you havent seen any signs of leaking.Just pull your seat off and remove the airbox lid.Myself and many others would be curious to know your results as 2012 parts have been suggested as a fix for some of our machines.

I'm sooo curious as to if the oil is in the air box. I'm with the guy who said Polaris didn't add enough oil from the get-go.
