time for a new battery

well the battery on my atp 500 is no good. i just wanted to check with you guys on what batteries you all have had gook luck with cuz the walmart brand batteries ive been using just aint doing it anymore. i cant get them to last more than a year and they are out. is there any out there that can do a lil better? my original polaris battery lasted a good bit but after that they just dont hold up as good.

On the walmart batteries, are you buying the cheap $50 battery, or the AGM 80-90$ battery? I have had good luck with the more expensive ones, but not so good luck with the cheap ones.

My ATV-GURU bumpers ARE FOR SALE, front and rear, BRAND NEW. Me a reasonable offer and they are YOURS.

(As you probably already know, they are currently unavailable from TheAtvSuperstore.com /ATV-Guru for an undisclosed amount of time).

Sorry, I meant to say "AGM"...'something glass material. I have been using the 80-90$ Everstart AGM ones without any trouble. At walmart, I believe the AGM ones are black, and the regular crappy ones are white.

Let us know what you find!

Everything you need to know is at Motorcycle Batteries, ATV, Car, Marine, and Solar Battery Products | BatteryStuff.com. I've bought several AGM ("Absorbed Gas Mat") batteries from them and have been very satisfied. - MarkC

The AGM battery is the way to go. Absorbed glass mat. No acid to leak out and the last longer than 6 months. Good brands include Interstate,& Deka(East Penn). I work in a parts store and we joke with our customers and tell them the battery label ever start was a misprint. It was supposed to read NEVER START. LOL
